Undertale (because everything gets better with some Undertale) N++ (it's a platformer, but has co-op? Thought I'd throw it in just in case you'd be interested) Towerfall ascension (fast paced archery vs. Stick Fight: The Game (basically just stick figures fighting, still in development, so) Speedrunners (you basically race through a course and try not to fall behind) Screencheat (everyone is invisible so you figure out where they are by looking at their screens) Risk of Rain (I've never played it but it's in my library so it must be good!) Overcooked (co-op cooking game, only really playable by 4) There's a 2 out, haven't played it though) Move or die (fast-paced minigames, not very retro, simple controls) Monaco (isn't very retro but it's a personal favorite (co-op heisting) Magicka 1&2, maybe? Not sure if they'd fit, plus they've got a lot of buttons Invisigun heroes (basically bomberman but way cooler) I have it as well but haven't actually played it yet.Ĭrawl (dungeon crawler where your friends are the monsters) Arcade style games in other genres I couldn't really comment on.Įdit: Cursed Castilla might be a good choice too. I'm only really familiar with the STG (Japanese abbreviation for Shooting Game or commonly referred to elsewhere as shmups/shoot em up). (TriZeal, XiiZeal, DeltaZeal, and ExZeal. Yet again, not an arcade game, but still decent games in that style. It's not something I've spent much time on myself, but it is a very well designed arcade shooter as well, and it is a very accurate port.īlue Revolver is also considered a decent game in that style though not an arcade game itself, though I don't know how well it'd be on a cab.Įschatos and Judgement Silversword are also good. It's not an actual arcade game, but it might be worth considering on an arcade style setup maybe.Ĭrimzon Clover is a highly regarded game as well. Hidden Star in Four Seasons could be good too. CAVE makes some really good shooters, and while these are on MAME, MAME does not run them very well, so it'd be better to have the ports.

Super Hexagon has an arcade mode option in its settings, which I'm guessing lets you play longer than 60 seconds in each level? I don't have it set myself and have only managed to clear the first level on it so far.ĭeathsmiles, DoDonPachi Resurrection, and Mushihimesama are ported on Steam.

Most of these aren't multiplayer, but then most arcade players don't tend to play that.
